— Louisiana Tech 42, North Texas 36— Tech knocks off #1-seed, despite shooting 28.6%.
— UAB 102, Middle Tennessee 98, 3OT— Blazers were down 6 with 0:39 left in second OT.

Terrible beat here, just awful; UAB (-7) led this game by 11 with 0:15 left in third OT; UAB players start jawing and two of them (two!!) get technical fouls.. Thought Andy Kennedy was going to lose his mind. Middle Tennessee hit the free throws, covered thru back door. 

12) SEC
— Texas A&M 83, Auburn 62— Aggies post consecutive upsets in noon time slot.
— Arkansas 79, LSU 67— Hogs shot 31 free throws; only three players took them.
— Kentucky 77, Vanderbilt 71— Scotty Pippen Jr was 2-17 from the floor. 

11) ACC
— Duke 80, Miami 76— Duke outscored Hurricanes 17-6 on foul line.
— Virginia Tech 72, North Carolina 59— Hokies won 11 of their last 13 games. 

10) Big 14
— Michigan State 69, Wisconsin 63— Badgers star Davis was 3-19 from floor.
— Iowa 84, Rutgers 74— Hawkeyes scored 112-84 points last two days.
— Indiana 65, Illinois 63— Other than Cockburn, Illini was 4-21 inside arc.

— Boise State 68, Wyoming 61— Broncos won 23 of their last 26 games.
— San Diego State 63, Colorado State 58— Aztecs are in fifth straight tourney final- they split the previous four

— Arizona 82, Colorado 72— Wildcats win without PG Kriisa (ankle); they were 24-25 on line.
— UCLA 69, USC 59— Bruins haven’t won Pac-12 tourney since 2014.

— Villanova 63, UConn 60— Wildcats won last two nights, by 1-3 points.
— Creighton 85, Providence 58— Bluejays won nine of their last 11 games; they’re experience team #309, continuity team #341; heck of a coaching job by Greg McDermott.

— Akron 70, Toledo 62— Zips never trailed; top-seed Rockets head to the NIT.
— Kent State 67, Ohio U 61— Golden Flashes have won 14 games in a row.

— Houston 69, Cincinnati 56— Bearcats led by 10 with 18:27 left.
— Memphis 85, UCF 69— Penny Hardaway’s Tigers play SMU Saturday.

— Saint Louis 57, St Bonaventure 56— Bonnies’ bench played total of 10:00.
— Dayton 75, UMass 72— Flyers won 8 of last 9 games; they’re least-experienced team in country, but they’re a very good team.

— Long Beach State 67, UCSB 64— Beach was 4-9 on January 10; now they’re 20-11.
— Fullerton 58, Hawai’i 46— Titans won last three games, giving up 53.3 ppg. 

2) Big X
— Kansas 75, TCU 62— Jayhawks won eight of their last ten games.
— Texas Tech 56, Oklahoma 55— Sooners missed tying foul shot with 0:07 left. 

1) MAAC:
— Monmouth 72, Rider 68— Hawks trailed by 8 in 2nd half; they made 10-20 on arc
— Saint Peter’s 64, Quinnipiac 52— Peacocks won 7 games in row; they beat Monmouth twice this season, both by five points.
